Patek Philippe Collateral Loans — Houston, TX

Houston concentrates more Fortune 500 energy-company headquarters than any other U.S. city except New York, and ten of the 2026 Forbes 400 are Houston-based — seven with direct energy ties. That density of held assets, including Patek Philippe, shapes what we see from this market.

Houston’s energy-sector wealth

The 2026 Fortune 500 places 27 companies in the Houston area — tied with Chicago for second nationally, behind only New York City’s 53. The leading positions belong to energy names: ExxonMobil at no. 9, Chevron at no. 21, Phillips 66 at no. 29, ConocoPhillips at no. 75, Enterprise Products Partners at no. 89, Baker Hughes at no. 164, and Occidental Petroleum at no. 173. The U.S. headquarters of Saudi Aramco (no. 4 on the Fortune Global 500 at $494.9 billion in revenue), Shell, TotalEnergies, and BP are also in Houston, making it the dominant address for supermajor North American operations.

Among private wealth, the 2026 Forbes 400 counts ten Houston entries, seven with direct energy ties. Hilcorp Energy founder Jeffery Hildebrand ranks 88th nationally at $14.7 billion. Kinder Morgan chairman Richard Kinder ranks 100th at $12.9 billion, up from $11.1 billion the year prior. Pipeline heirs Randa Duncan Williams ($11.7 billion, no. 124) and sisters Dannine Avara and Milane Frantz (each at $11.6 billion, tied at no. 128) complete a list unusual in its sector concentration for any American city.

The Patek Philippe market in Houston

De Boulle, Inc. is the sole Patek Philippe authorized retailer in Houston. Its showroom is at River Oaks District, 4444 Westheimer Road — an open-air luxury complex that opened October 1, 2015, and spans 252,000 square feet across more than 60 stores. Cartier, Hermès, Harry Winston, Van Cleef & Arpels, Rolex, and Baccarat are among the neighboring tenants. De Boulle describes its Dallas and Houston showrooms as home to some of the largest Patek Philippe collections in North America and has served both markets for over 30 years.

From a lending standpoint, a Patek Philippe acquired at River Oaks District trades on the same auction-referenced wholesale floors as one bought anywhere else. The secondary market assigns no location premium — reference, condition, service history, and current exit data are what determine value. That is the basis we quote against.

Texas pawn lending law: Chapter 371

Pawn lending in Texas is governed by Chapter 371 of the Texas Finance Code, cited as the Texas Pawnshop Act. The Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner administers it under implementing rules in Title 7, Chapter 85 of the Texas Administrative Code. The statute sets tiered service-charge ceilings that decline as loan amounts increase. On amounts above the top statutory threshold — where a significant Patek loan would sit — the monthly charge is capped at 1% per month, equivalent to 12% APR. Thresholds adjust annually for CPI, with rates resetting each July 1.

Section 371.169 requires a pawnbroker to hold any pledged item for at least 30 days after its maturity date before disposing of it. During that window, the pledgor may redeem by paying the original agreed redemption price plus a daily charge equal to one-thirtieth of the monthly service charge for each elapsed day.

Houston clients should note that loans arranged through LoanYourPatek are originated by licensed lender partners under California law, not Texas Chapter 371. The rate and grace-period figures above describe the Texas statutory framework for context only. Figures shown on this site are general guidance, not loan offers. References and loan terms

The Nautilus — particularly the 5711/1A and 5990/1A — appears most frequently from energy-wealth ZIP codes including Houston. Calatrava dress pieces with full-stainless or platinum cases carry collector premiums that affect LTV depending on reference and condition. Vintage Patek acquired through de Boulle or at auction benefits from the documentation those channels generate: prior catalog listings, archive extracts from Patek, and service records each move a piece toward the top of its appraisal range.

The asset is the loan — no income verification required. Up to 65% LTV on Patek Philippe references; the final figure is set at in-person appraisal by the originating licensed lender. For the full process, see how it works. Common questions on terms and funding speed are in the FAQ.
