The Aquanaut has spent years living in the Nautilus's shadow, but the 5167A steel reference has closed a lot of that gap as Nautilus availability improved and buyers looked for the next-most-liquid Patek sport model. Rubber-strap references trade differently than the composite or leather strap variants — condition of the strap itself is a real appraisal factor, since a cracked or degraded rubber strap is a cost the eventual buyer has to absorb.

White gold (5168G) and rose gold (5167R) versions sit in a different bracket than steel, priced on metal content plus the design premium rather than purely on sport-watch demand. The 5164A travel-time complication adds real functional value and typically appraises above a comparable time-only reference. As with Nautilus, box and papers completeness meaningfully affects where in the range we land.
